The Hicks family made Jessamine Farm a
home in 1978 and have been welcoming
visitors to this unusual Romney
Marsh site ever since…
About us.
Where we started...
Jaqueline and Anthony Hicks made Jessamine Farm their family home in 1978. To help support her family, Jaqueline opened the touring caravan park and Bed and Breakfast.
Stories we tell...
Whilst renovating the property some stones were found in the historic garden wall. Skulls, with cross picks and shovels indicated that there was perhaps, a grave. Researchers, found the last will and testament of a local smuggler. He had asked his friends at Jessamine Farm to give him a "good and decent burial".
Where we are going...
Now that Jaqueline has taken a step back from the business, she has handed over to her daughter, Stephanie and granddaughter, Emily to continue her work at the park, as well as some new ventures.
Meet the Team.
