Brenzett Aeronautical museum

The Museum is a unique collection of wartime equipment, remains recovered from aircraft crash sites and memorabilia collected and donated to the Museum since its formation in 1972. The Museum is an independent Trust dedicated to the memory of those living and dead, friend or foe, who served their country during wartime.

RH&DR Miniature Railway

Known as “Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, our world famous one-third full size steam & diesel locomotives have powered their way along the 13½ miles of track from the Cinque Port town of Hythe, terminating in Dungeness; a National Nature Reserve. With 4 stations in between, all within walking distance of a beach, our railway provides you with an opportunity to explore this unique corner of Kent.

Dungeness Lighthouse

The Old Lighthouse is an Historic Grade 11 building, listed in 1992 by Shepway District Council, recently celebrating its centenary.

The Ossuary (the Crypt) at St Leonard's Church

St Leonard’s Church has the largest and best-preserved collection of ancient human skulls and bones in Britain. The collection consists of shelves in four arched bays that contain 1,000 skulls in total, and a single stack of bones and skulls measuring 7.5m in length, 1.8m in width and just over 1.8m in height. The stack of bones was reassembled on its brick base in 1910.

Elham Valley Line Trust

The Elham Valley Line Trust was formed in 1984 dedicated to preserving railway history, countryside crafts and to provide educational facilities. It is a Registered Charity (295563 and is run solely by volunteers and totally reliant on income from the museum, craft centre, membership subscriptions and donations.
